Mountain Kněhyně

The Knehyne mountain is a significant peak in this area (1257m) with many rocks formations and beautiful views. There is a 250 meters long cave nearby the peak, a protected place of pseudo-karst in Beskydy, which is closed for public. At so-called “Knehynska louka” green-field, in the saddle Pod Khyni, a memorial is set, the memorial of the partisan Ruzena Valentova and the 1st Czechoslovak partisan brigade of Jan Zizka, which lapsed into snare here.
